Yellow Mayfly Foam
Suddenly I was standing in a green tunnel of trees ... up till my waist in the water. The sun came out and there appeared a kind of divine light in the tunnel ..... and then the mayflies came out of nowhere. One after another, and the trout were directly feeding on them. I got all excited. I was thinking ohh my god..do I have some with me?... I opened all my flyboxes and in fact; there was a yellow mayfly in. With trembling fingers I tied on the yellow foamfly and casted it towards the eager fish. And how eagerly? The fly was not even landed and a large brooktrout jumped into the air and grabbed the foam fly with great ease. The ultimate flyfishing ... so it felt.
Always have a couple of these, just in case...
